Price reduction on transport fares

In 2024, public transport fares will keep the same discounts that started in September 2022.

In accordance with the Royal Decree-Law approved by the Council of Ministers on December 26, 2023, the Metropolitan Transport Authority (ATM) and the Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB) will continue to reduce the price of the tickets most frequently used throughout 2024, with the exception of the T-casual ticket, which has no discount.

The transport tickets that keep the discounts are the T-usual, the T-jove (for under 30s), the T-70/90 and the T-4 tickets. The discount applies to all zones, all options for large and single-parent families, and the discounted T-usual ticket for the unemployed.

Tickets purchased until January 14, 2024 cannot be exchanged for equivalent 2024 fare tickets.
