Metro network
More than 40% of Barcelona's public transport journeys are made by metro, as it is the quickest, most confortable and safest means of getting around. The TMB metro network connects to all the neighbourhoods and districts and all the tourist attractions. Its schedule of operating times are also very accommodating.
25% of the network is an automated metro network. If you travel to Barcelona by plane, use the ;Line 9 Sud to get to the city centre from the airport. This is an authomated metro line.
Bus network
Over 20% of passengers use the bus. The TMB bus network also connects to all neighborhood and tourist attractions. The bus is a convenient way to travel around the city, take in the sights and discover hidden corners.
