The Centenary stamp

The new personalised Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona 100 years of bus stamp commemorates the launch of the city’s bus network.

On 7 and 8 October, the Cotxeres de Sants bus depot will be hosting Barnafil, the stamp, coin and collecting fair organised by the Gremi de Filatèlia i Numismàtica (Guild of Philately and Numismatics) (CA). As a new feature for this edition, the guild is launching the commemorative stamp of the Centenary of the Bus Network. The stamp is valid for use, but has been produced especially for collectors, so it will not be on sale in tobacconists.

Barnafil is a trade fair dedicated to the world of collecting, which began in the 1970s, where visitors can buy and sell stamps coins and all kinds of collector’s items. The fair is held twice a year - Barnafil Primavera and Barnafil Tardor - at the Cotxeres de Sants bus depot (c/Sants 79 - Barcelona), from 10 am to 8 pm.

Centenary ONCE coupon

On the 7th of June 2022, the ONCE published 5 million coupons featuring the image of the Centenary of the Bus Network which were disseminated throughout the region. 
The main image on the coupon was the 1922 Tilling Stevens, the Barcelona network's oldest bus. 
Enric Botí, the ONCE regional representative in Catalonia, gave TMB a framed image of the ONCE coupon dedicated to the centenary of the Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) bus network.
