One T-mobilitat, more than one ticket

Buy and download tickets

Carry more than one ticket on the plastic card or mobile

From now on, you can carry more than one type of transport ticket on the same device, according to your travel needs.

Upload the tickets you need

  • If you use the personalized plastic card, you can load a maximum of two different tickets.
  • If you prefer using your mobile as a support, you can load up to five tickets, which can be of the same type or different. Make sure to have the latest version of the TMB App and also the e-wallet (Cartera T-mobilitat app).

In both types of support, for each ticket loaded, you can carry an identical backup ticket.

The anonymous cardboard card, the T-16, and the T-metropolitana do not have this new functionality.

Validate according to your travel

If you choose to carry more than one ticket on the support, you must have the correct ticket selected to validate it and travel. Keep in mind that you need to keep it selected until you finish your journey.

You can change the ticket through the TMB App or the ticket machines in the metro network (only available for plastic cards).

Number of loads according to the support

Anonymous card: only one ticket.
Personalized card: up to two different tickets.
Mobile: fup to five different tickets.

  • Manage T-mobilitat online

    Digitally manage personalized supports (plastic card or mobile): load transport tickets, block them in case of loss or theft, request invoices, or check the purchase history.

  • Validate without contact

    Validating with T-mobilitat is very quick; you only need to bring the card (plastic or cardboard) or the mobile close to the illuminated readers of the metro and bus validators. If you're traveling with a card, don't insert it into the slot!

  • Reload the cards, don't throw them away

    Buy the cards only once and reload them with the tickets you need to travel. If you use the plastic card, do it with TMB App or at the ticket machines. If you have the cardboard card, go to the ticket machines.

    With TMB App, you have everything on your mobile: buy, reload transport tickets, validate them directly with the device, and perform other tasks conveniently from your personal space.
