Tramvia Blau
Temporarily out of service
The Tramvia Blau is temporarily closed for modernization works on its infrastructure.
The equivalent journey can be made via Avinguda Tibidabo as far as Plaça Doctor Andreu using bus route 196, which operates daily between 07:30 and 22:00
The three routes offered by the Barcelona Bus Turístic are also available for you to enjoy the most iconic landmarks of the city.
And if you want to appreciate the best views over the city you can enjoy them from the Montjuïc Cable Car.
A historic means of transport, a unique experience
The Tramvia Blau, which dates from 1901, is the survivor of the old Barcelona. It runs 1,276 metres up to the foot of the Tibidabo funicular, past Modernista and Noucentista buildings that give way to nature and splendid views of the city.
The Tramvia Blau is an alternative way to get to CosmoCaixa (Science Museum), Tibidabo fair, the Temple del Sagrat Cor, the Collserola communications tower and the Fabra Observatory.
