This Wednesday, April 23rd, Sant Jordi will once again fill the streets with books and roses. A dozen outdoor enclosures will be enabled, in addition to the creation of a "literary illa" on Passeig de Gràcia, between Avinguda Diagonal and Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, also incorporating the Rambla and Carrer Gran de Gràcia.

Disruptions to bus services
Due to the celebration of Sant Jordi's Day, the buses that circulate through the affected areas will be diverted or limited.
- Hour: throughout the service.
- Affected lines: D40, D50, H6, H8, H10, V13, V15, V17, V27, V29, 6, 7, 19, 22, 24, 33, 34, 47, 52, 54, 59, 114, 116, 122, 134 and bus turístic (routes blue and red).

Bus on demand
Vallbona area
The new application "elMeuBus 2025" is now available for bookings from 1st May in the Vallbona area.
From 1st May, in order to continue using the Bus on Demand service in this area, you will have to use the new application.
How to download
1) Download the ‘elMeuBus 2025’ app from your app shop.
2) Register or log in using your phone number.
3) Accept permission to share your location when using the app.
4) Indicate your destination and create the new booking.
5) Enjoy your trip! Remember that if your plans change, you can cancel your booking.

From 12 April, on Saturdays and public holidays, line V19 will have three destinations in an upward direction to improve the service and increase capacity in the areas with the highest demand.
In addition to the usual route, between Barceloneta and Pl. Alfonso Comín, two sections will be reinforced:
- North reinforcement: it will operate between 10 am and 6 pm, between the stops of Praga - Rda. Guinardó (Metro Alfons X) and av. República Argentina (Metro Vallcarca).
- South reinforcement: it will operate between 10am and 9pm, between the stops of Pg. de Sant Joan - Còrsega (Metro Verdaguer) and Pl. Rosa dels Vents (Barceloneta area).

Disruptions on metro L2
From 12 April, until the end of service on 21 April 2025, the section of L2 between La Pau and Badalona Pompeu Fabra will be out of service due to infrastructure improvement works. The line will operate normally from Paral·lel and La Pau.
Metro L3 take you to:
- Plaça d'Espanya: nearest station Espanya on L1 and L3. You can also get there on buses D20, H12, H16, V7, X2, 13, 23 (does not run on Saturdays and Sundays), 46, 52, 65, 79, 91 (does not run on Sundays), 109 and 150.

On Tuesday, April 22nd, at 9.30 p.m., the FC Barcelona - Mallorca match will be played at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.
There will be two special bus services, one from Plaça d'Espanya and the other from Fira Gran Via between Estadi Olímpic de Montjuïc.
There are several regular bus lines that take you to:
- Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys: lines 13, 55, 125 and 150 (Pl. Espanya - Castell de Montjuïc).
- Plaça d'Espanya: lines D20, D40, H12, H16, V7, 13, 46, 65, 79, 91, 109 and 125.
- Passeig de la Zona Franca: lines H16, V3, V5, 109 and 125.
You can also get there by subway Metro: get off at Paral·lel station (L2/L3) and then take the Montjuïc Funicular. On Tuesday, the metro service will run until midnight. The Montjuïc funicular will be in service until 11:45 p.m.

Disruptions to bus service and recommended transport
A new edition of the Salomon Run has arrived, with three different modalities: The Salomon Run 5k, the Salomon Run 10k and the Salomon Run Vertical.
- Date: Sunday, 13 april.
- Time of the event: from 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 a.m., approximately.
- Area affected: the three races are held in the Montjuïc mountain area and affect Avinguda dels Muntanyans with Passeig de Santa Madrona, Camí de la Foixarda from Carrer de la Foixarda, the Avenida del Estadio between Carrer dels Jocs del 92 and Passeig Olímpic and Carrer de Pierre de Coubertin between Passeig Olímpic and Carrer dels Jocs del 92.

On Sunday, April 13th, the Palm Sunday procession in Eixample will take place and disruptions to the bus service are expected.

As is tradition before Palm Sunday, you can enjoy two fairs in the city: one in the Plaça de la Sagrada Familia and the other on the Rambla de Catalunya, between the streets of Aragó and Consell de Cent. This year, the fairs will be held from April 9th from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The next events to be held at the Fira Barcelona - Gran Via exhibition centre are:
- From 8 to 10 April, the Advanced Factories congress, where the latest innovations in automation equipment will be presented, and the Advance Machine Tools congress, a congress with new technologies in automation, robotics and artificial intelligence among many others.
- On 10 and 11 April, the Barcelona Dental Show congress will be held, where more than 180 industry leaders will present more than 360 innovations and solutions in dentistry.

Disruptions to metro service and recommended transport
Disruptions on metro L1
From Saturday 12th April, at 5 a.m., to Sunday 13th April, until the end of service, the section of L1 between Glòries and La Sagrera will be out of service due to infrastructure improvement works.
The line will operate normally between Hospital de Bellvitge and Glòries, and between La Sagrera and Fondo.
Transport recommendations
To get around the stations on the affected section between Glòries and La Sagrera, we recommend:
Shuttle bus service
There will be a shuttle bus service between Glòries and La Sagrera, which will stop at the stations on the section affected with the same metro opening hours. To use the shuttle bus service, it will not be necessary to validate your ticket.
Glòries - La Sagrera shuttle bus service schedule:
- It will start running on Sunday 12th April, at 5 a.m. In order to guarantee the connection between Bus and Metro, on Sunday April 13th, the last shuttle bus service from Glòries will be at 00.33 a.m. and the last one from La Sagrera will be at 12.18 a.m.
- Approximate time interval: 3 to 8 minutes on Saturday and 3 to 9 minutes, on Sunday.

- Stop 3371 - Badajoz - Diagonal.
- Stop 1489 - Meridiana - València.
- Stop 8135 - Av Meridiana, 220.
- Stop 744 - Felip II - Meridiana.

Other transport alternatives
- Metro:
- L2: you can travel between Universitat and Clot. From 12th to 21st April, L2 will run between Paral·lel and La Pau, leaving without service the section between La Pau and Badalona Pompeu Fabra. More information at the L2 cut service notice.
- L4 and L5: you can use the L4 to travel between Urquinaona and Verdaguer, and connect there to L5 to get to La Sagrera.

From March 27 to April 6, Cirque Du Soleil arrives with Corteo, a theatrical world of fun, comedy and spontaneity located in a mysterious space between heaven and earth.
You can get there by:
- Bus: lines 13, 23 (only runs on weekdays), 55, 125 and 150 (Pl. Espanya - Castell de Montjuïc). At the end there will be a special bus service between the venue and Plaza de Espanya.
- Metro: get off at Paral·lel station (L2/L3) and then take the Funicular (Monday to Friday, from 7.30 am to 8 pm, and Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, from 9 am to 8 pm). You can get more information about metro operating hours here.

Festivities for Sagrada Família
From 4 to 13 April, the Festa Major de la Sagrada Família is celebrated with musical performances, popular culture activities and much more.
You can get there by:
Bus service disruptions due to the Correfocs of the Sagrada Família festival
Children's Correfoc
- Date: 5th April.
- Timetable: from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., approximately.
- Route: starts at Carrer de la Marina and Carrer de Provença and continues along Carrer de la Marina to Carrer del Rosselló, Avinguda de Gaudí to Carrer de Còrsega and down Avinguda de Gaudí to Carrer de la Marina between Carrer de Mallorca and Carrer de Provença.
- Affected lines that will be diverted or limited their route: V21 and 19.
Correfoc
- Date: 5 th April.
- Timetable: from 8.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. approximately.
- Route: starts at Carrer de la Marina, 253 and continues along Carrer de la Marina to Carrer de Rosselló, Carrer de Lepant, Carrer de Mallorca and ends at Carrer de la Marina between Carrer de Mallorca and Carrer de Provença.
