On Sunday, December 22nd, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Santa Claus will make his popular parade down the street of Sants.
- Route: starts in Avinguda de Madrid and goes along Carrer de Sants until Carrer de la Creu Coberta with Carrer del Moianès.
- Time: from 4.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m., approx.
- Buses affected that will be diverted or operate on a shorter route: D20, H10, V5, 54 and 115.

From 19 to 22 December, the best padel in the world returns to Barcelona, more specifically at the Palau Sant Jordi.
The Premier Padel Finals offers padel fans the chance to witness the culmination of an exciting season, with the best pairings in the men's and women's competition battling it out to be crowned champions at the final tournament in 2024.
You can get there by:
- Bus: lines 13, 23 (only runs on weekdays), 55, 125 and 150 (Pl. Espanya - Castell de Montjuïc). At the end of the event, there will be a special bus service between the venue and Plaza de Espanya.
- Metro: get off at Paral·lel station (L2/L3) and then take the Montjuïc Funicular. You can get more information about metro and Funicular operating hours here.

Once again this year, Father Christmas will be staging a parade around the streets of Horta and Carmel neighbourhoods.
- Date: Monday, 23 December.
- Time: from 5 pm to 8 pm, approx.
- Route: it starts at Plaça de les Palmeres and goes along Carrer Calderón de la barca, Carrer del Llobregós, Carrer del Pantà de Tremp, Carrer de Dante Alighieri and ends in Rambla del Carmel.
- Buses affected that will be diverted or operate on a shorter route: H2, V19, V21, V23, 19, 22, 24, 102 and 119.

The most festive race returns on the eve of New Year's Eve, an event that begins at sunset with the light of day and ends when the sun goes down.
- Date: Thuesday, December 31st.
- Route: starts and finishes in Carrer de la Selva de Mar at Plaça Ramon Calsina and runs along Carrer de la Selva de Mar, Passeig de Garcia Fària, Passeig de Calvell, Carrer de la Llacuna roundabout (sea side), Carrer de la Llacuna (Llobregat side), Carrer de Salvador Espriu, Plaça dels Voluntaris Olímpics (mountain side), Salvador Espriu street (mountain side), Doctor Aiguader street, Pau Vila square, Pla de Palau, Marquès de l'Argentera avenue (sea side), Passeig de Picasso to turn 180°, Passeig de Picasso, Passeig de la Circumval-lació (mountain side), Icària avenue, Marina street, Llull street, Llacuna street, Diagonal avenue (sea side) and ends at Selva de Mar street.
- Lines affected whose routes will be diverted or limited: D20, H14, H16, V13, V15, V17, V19, V21, V23, V25, V27, V29, V31, 6, 7, 47, 59, 120, 136, 192 and Barcelona Bus turístic (route red).

On Saturday 21st December, at 8 p.m., La de Nadal Christmas Race takes place on Santa Coloma de Gramenet.
- Date: Saturday, 21st December.
- Time: from 7.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m., approx.
- Route: the 5 km race starts in Plaça de la Vila and goes through the streets of Sant Carles, Sant Jeroni, Doctor Ferran, Safareig, Francesc Macià avenue, Llorenç Serra avenue until the traffic circle, and turns again in Santa Coloma avenue, Cultura street, Generalitat avenue, Sant Sebastià rambla, enters the Ferran de Sagarra square and goes around it, returns to the Rambla de Sant Sebastià, continues on the Rambla de Fondo, the streets of Irlanda, Rafael de Casanovas, Mossèn Camil Rosell, Passeig de Jaume Gordi, the streets of Rafael de Casanovas, Josep Anselm Clavé and ends at the Plaça de la Vila.

You can get there by:
- Bus: lines 13, 55, 125 and 150 (Pl. Espanya - Castell de Montjuïc). There will be two special bus services, one from Plaça d'Espanya and the other one from Fira Gran Via to Estadi Olímpic de Montjuïc.
- Metro: get off at Paral·lel station (L2/L3) and then take the Montjuïc Funicular. On Saturdays, metro services runs all night and, the Montjuïc funicular, extends its schedule until 00.30 a.m.

On December 24th, Christmas Eve, TMB buses make their final departure from their origin at 10 pm.
Metro
- Christmas Eve: the metro service operates until midnight.
- Christmas day: on 25th of December, the metro service ends at 2 am.
- Sant Esteve's day: on 26th of December, the metro service operates until midnight.
- New Year's Eve:on 31th of December, continuous service throughout Saturday to Sunday night.
- New Year's Day:on 1st of January, the metro service operates until midnight.
- Three King's Eve: on 5th January, the metro service ends at 2 am.
- Three King's Day: on 6th January, the metro service operates until midnight.
Other modes of transport
- Montjuïc Funicular:
- Working days, Mondays to Fridays: from 07:30 to 20:00
- Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays: from 09:00 to 20:00.
- Montjuïc Cable Car :
- From 10.00 am to 6.00 pm
- On December 25, January 1 and 6, the hours are from 10.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.
- Barcelona Bus Turístico:
- From 9 am to 7 pm. Services start running at the majority of stops between 9 am and 9.30 am and final departures are at 7 pm. Buses run daily, except on 1 January and 25 December.
- Barcelona Christmas Tour:
- It operates from 29 November 2023 to 4 January 2024 (except on 24, 25 and 31 December and 1 January), with service from Monday to Sunday and departure times at 18.30 and 20.30 h.

Disruptions to bus service and recommended transport
Disruptions to bus service
Due to the celebration of New Year's Eve at Plaça d'Espanya, there will be disruptions to bus service.
- Date: Tuesday 31st December.
- Time of the affectation: from 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 31, to 4 a.m., January 1, approximately.
- Place: Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina.
- Area affected: the following streets will be closed to traffic: Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina, Avinguda de Rius i Taulet, Carrer de Mèxic, Avinguda de Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia and Carrer de Montanyans between Plaça de Sant Jordi and Passeig de Santa Madrona. Plaça d’Espanya will only be cut off if it is necessary to guarantee traffic safety.
- Buses that will be diverted or operate on a shorter route: 13, 150 and bus turístic (red route). If the traffic is eventually cut off in Plaça d’Espanya it would also affect: D20, H12, H16, 27, 46, 52, 65, 79, 91 and 109.
Recommended transport
Metro: (L1, L3: Espanya, L1: Rocafort and L3: Poble Sec).
At busy times, follow the directions given by staff, who will be in contact with the authorities. You can also get information over the PA system and on illuminated signs. Be particularly careful in Espanya (L1, L3), Rocafort (L1), Poble Sec (L3) and Urquinaona (L1/L4) which will be the busiest for getting to and from the event.
For your safety, do not approach the edge of the platform until the train has stopped.
